Landscape & Art Projects

Elements of Action collaborate with different design practices on landscape and art projects. Recent teams in park, play spaces, healthcare & greenways are with Kim Wilkie, Connect the Dots, A Playful city, Robert Bourke Architects Dublin, Natural Play Specialist Joanne Coughlan, Aoife Banville Visual Artist. They use experience in project management delivery and theories of placemaking to ensure meaningful community engagement and activity led codesign & collaborations for projects and have a toolkit for connecting and assisting how visitors and locals experience and use public places.


Reimagining the steel railway tracks in New Ross, a series of 2 sculptures was created by Elements of Action and Aoife Banville along the Greenway.


Elements of Action was commissioned to design and build a herringbone slate and turf bank as a multi-functional sculptural boundary installation in the gardens of the Maggie’s Centre in Swansea.


Funded by Creative Ireland, in collaboration Wexford County Council, the Irish Architectural Foundation, and Joanne Coughlan (Studio AULA).
